Visit
Come see it. We are an hour and fifteen minutes from Dallas.
We moved into this workshop and showroom in July 2021. The mill, the kiln, the benches, and the showroom are all on the same piece of ground.
What you will see
The showroom, and whatever happens to be on the bench
You do not need an appointment during the week. Walk in, and if we are mid-glue-up we will finish the clamp and come find you.
Finished pieces on the floor
Tables, benches, chairs, and butcher block you can sit at, lean on, and look down the length of. Photos flatten wood. In person you can see the grain move as you walk past it.
Pieces in progress
There is almost always something half-built. Tops clamped up, bases in primer, a slab waiting on its second coat. It is the honest version of what you are buying.
Stain samples in real light
The single hardest thing to judge on a screen. Bring a photo of your floor or your cabinets and hold the samples against it.
The shop and the mill, sometimes
If we are not buried and the shop is not too dusty that day, we will walk you through the working shop and the sawmill. It depends entirely on what is running. Ask, and we will tell you straight.
Getting here
Out past Greenville, then a county road.
Wolfe City sits about an hour and fifteen minutes northeast of Dallas. Once you are off the highway you are on county roads, so let the map take you the whole way in rather than eyeballing it.
It is a working yard. There will be logs, a mill, and equipment moving. Park where it is clear and come find us. If you are bringing kids, keep them close to you in the yard.
Coming to pick up a finished piece? Bring a trailer or a truck, straps, and moving blankets. We will help you load it, but the tie-down is yours.
Schedule a visit
Coming on a weekend, or want someone to be free when you arrive?
Weekends are by appointment only. Weekdays you can walk in, but if you want an uninterrupted hour with stain samples and a tape measure, tell us when you are coming and we will keep the time clear.
