About Coppell
What we see in Coppell houses
Coppell built out in the 1980s and 1990s and then stayed put. The trees are grown in, the schools hold families in place, and the work happening now is remodel work rather than new construction.
Traditional brick two stories on established streets, with kitchens and breakfast areas that are being opened up and refinished rather than torn out.
How our work fits
Building for a Coppell room specifically
The same table is right in one house and wrong in the next. This is what we change, and why.
A remodel is a harder brief than a new build, because the new piece has to live with things that are staying. When a Coppell kitchen keeps its floors and replaces the cabinets, the table has to sit correctly between the two, and that is a stain decision, not a shape decision. We will send stain samples out and ask you to put them on the actual floor in the actual light before anybody commits, because a color chosen under shop lights is a color chosen wrong.
Stain matching to existing floors
Samples sent out and viewed in your own light first.
Butcher block countertops in remodels
Sized to the new cabinet run.
Refinishing and repair
Solid wood can be brought back. We do that work too.
Worth asking in Coppell
Is there a tree on the property?
If one came down in a storm, or one is coming out for a pool or an addition, we would rather look at the log than hear it went to the chipper. Bring it to our mill and we saw it, dry it in our kiln, and build it into the piece for the house it grew beside. Send us a photo first and we will tell you if there is a table in it.

Send dimensions and a photo of the space. You will get a straight answer from one of the two people who would build it, not a quote generator.
