Serving Celina
Custom hardwood furniture for Celina
A town square, a fast growing edge, and families arriving every month.
Milled, dried, and built at our own sawmill in Wolfe City, about an hour from Celina.
About Celina
What we see in Celina houses
Celina kept its downtown square while adding thousands of houses around it, which makes it one of the few places in North Texas where a genuinely small town center and brand new construction sit five minutes apart.
New construction dominates, most of it farmhouse influenced, with board and batten, black windows, and open kitchens. Older stock near the square is modest and well kept.
How our work fits
Building for a Celina room specifically
The same table is right in one house and wrong in the next. This is what we change, and why.
Farmhouse styling is everywhere in Celina, and most of it is styling rather than construction. The cabinet doors are shaker but the furniture inside is particle board wearing a wood grain photograph. A real solid hardwood table in one of these houses does something specific: it gives the room one object that is actually what it appears to be, and everything around it reads better for it.
Trestle farm tables
The form the houses are already styled around, built properly.
Painted bases with hardwood tops
Matches the board and batten without going matchy.
Cutting boards and small gifts
A short drive out to the shop and you are not leaving empty handed.
Worth asking in Celina
Is there a tree on the property?
If one came down in a storm, or one is coming out for a pool or an addition, we would rather look at the log than hear it went to the chipper. Bring it to our mill and we saw it, dry it in our kiln, and build it into the piece for the house it grew beside. Send us a photo first and we will tell you if there is a table in it.
