About Wylie
What we see in Wylie houses
Wylie is forty five minutes from our door, which makes it one of the easiest places for us to deliver, measure, and come back if anything ever needs attention. It has an old downtown, new neighborhoods on every edge, and Lavon Lake at its back.
A small historic core, a large band of 2000s and newer construction, and lake adjacent property on the north and east sides.
How our work fits
Building for a Wylie room specifically
The same table is right in one house and wrong in the next. This is what we change, and why.
Proximity is a real feature, not a sales line. When you are this close we will bring stain samples to your house rather than mail them, we will deliver ourselves rather than hand the piece to a freight company, and if a leaf ever sticks or a finish needs attention in year six, we can be at your door on a Saturday. That is worth more over the life of a table than any single design decision.
In person stain samples
We bring them to your house and look at them in your light.
Our own delivery and placement
No freight company, no curbside drop.
Legacy Projects
Close enough to look at your tree within the week.
Worth asking in Wylie
Is there a tree on the property?
If one came down in a storm, or one is coming out for a pool or an addition, we would rather look at the log than hear it went to the chipper. Bring it to our mill and we saw it, dry it in our kiln, and build it into the piece for the house it grew beside. Send us a photo first and we will tell you if there is a table in it.

Tell us about the room and we will tell you what belongs in it.
Send dimensions and a photo of the space. You will get a straight answer from one of the two people who would build it, not a quote generator.
